I have 20+ years of experience in international development, dedicated to helping organisations and programmes to reach their social goals through evidence, learning and innovation. I have teamed up with charities, social enterprises, universities, funders and governments in Africa, Asia and Latin America. I was born in Chile and raised in the UK. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I received a PhD in Gender and Social Change in Chile from the University of Liverpool. My expertise includes evaluation - especially complex and theory-based evaluations-, research, evidence-based policy and practice, fostering innovation, and enhancing effectiveness. I always bring a central emphasis on equity and inclusion. In my personal life, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking and gardening. I am also an avid reader and always curious about ideas and people.
